Big Sister

Nine people, two lead voices, one loud room. Big Sister is Southern rock with soul in its bones, out of Woodstock, Georgia, and played loud enough to feel in your chest.

It started with Tri, the founder and frontman. After nine years away from Atlanta's music scene, a death in the family brought him home with a stack of songs he'd written while he was gone. He took them to Woodstock's open mics, people got behind them, and one guy with a guitar grew into a nine-piece that fills a room.

Then there's Twiggy. Where Tri brings the grit, Twiggy brings the fire: a voice that can shake the rafters one minute and stop the room cold the next. Two lead singers pulling in different directions and landing in the same place. It feels less like a band and more like a revival.

"I created Big Sister to have one place on earth I could be completely free." (Tri)
